OUR PLANNING PROCESS
From decades of experience working with campuses, we have honed a process that breaks the mold of linear plans based on historical projections. Our planning is rooted in your strategic planning objectives as we design your residential life facilities to move key performance indicators toward your goals. The process focuses on developing the highest probability scenario while integrating potential alternatives as necessary.
Responsive to shifts in a plan's primary direction.
Premeditated strategies to potential scenarios.
Structured responses that can be quickly engaged and adapted to specific conditions. We build these frameworks through data-informed processes that support consensus building among campus stakeholders.
The data that drives your campus plan can be
PHYSICAL: Existing condition assessment data
FUNCTIONAL: Meeting and focus group feedback, survey data, market analysis, benchmarks, demographics
FINANCIAL: Bed demand, cash flow, debt service
PROGRAM & POLICY: Living learning communities, crisis management
HISTORY OF SUCCESS
Agile Planning was employed at the University of Buffalo to explore multiple alternate scenarios of their recently completed traditional 10-year plan. Agile planning also helped SUNY Oneonta understand the impact of enrollment scenarios on a proposed net-zero energy residence hall retrofit.
