PROJECT COORDINATOR
I started my professional career learning and understanding the construction trade. I felt that I needed to be able to know how everything works, so that I could be well versed in all aspects of the project, before moving forward. I was then able to use my love for design into my profession, but things quickly changed and the opportunity to take on a more of a leadership role became available. I have since learned that I enjoy taking the lead on projects, seeing something develop from the beginning to the end is something to be proud of. I enjoy learning new things, I like to take on new responsibilities and to be challenged.
PERSONAL BIO
My passion for creating and designing started in elementary school, from helping my father build things around the house to organizing and setting up school functions. I would draw, paint, draft, and sculpt at any given time. I have always had an interest in old things, the history of houses, trails, and the way things work. I can spend hours on end, reading and learning about the history of something. I recently spent over 5 years helping my family take apart my great grandparents' old farmhouse that was originally built in 1820, where we then reused 80% of the material and created a new home for my brother and I. Every day, I get to look at my slate fireplace and think about how that slate was once stacked up and used as the foundation to hold up the original house! I have been fortunate to live on my great grandparents' farmland since I was three, and there are still days where I can still go out in my back yard, dig and find something from the past. I enjoy collecting anything vintage, especially Halloween and Christmas decorations. When I’m not at work, I can be found at home spending time with my cat, Phish, at my family's camp in the Adirondacks, or outside walking along a trail.
